{"id":9050,"date":"2023-05-13T19:14:09","date_gmt":"2023-05-13T19:14:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/introlab.net\/?page_id=9050"},"modified":"2026-01-21T06:52:54","modified_gmt":"2026-01-21T06:52:54","slug":"ica-at","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/staging-introlab.dev-digitaldot.com\/en\/ica-at\/","title":{"rendered":"ICA At"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ICA At analysis is a blood analysis conducted at the <a href=\"https:\/\/staging-introlab.dev-digitaldot.com\/en\/\">IntroLab<\/a> in Belgrade to measure the presence of ICA At (autoantibodies against pancreatic cells). <strong>This test is used in the diagnosis and monitoring of autoimmune type 1 diabetes<\/strong> and is also one of the blood tests for diabetes.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The presence of antibodies to ICA (islet cells of the pancreas) represents an early marker of pancreatic beta-cell destruction. <em>These antibodies can be found in the blood up to 10-15 years before the onset of type 1 diabetes.<\/em> Detecting ICA antibodies does not necessarily indicate the future development of diabetes.
