The Phospholipid IgG At test is an essential blood test that detects antibodies directed against phospholipids. A blood sample is required for this test, taken from a vein in your arm. The process is quick and straightforward. After the area is disinfected, a nurse or technician will use a sterile needle to draw the blood. Once the necessary amount is collected, the needle is removed, and the puncture site is covered with sterile gauze.<\/p>\n

Result interpretation<\/h2>\n

The results of the test can be classified as negative, borderline, or positive. The reference values are:<\/p>\n

  • <10 U\/mL is megative<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • 10-20 U\/mL is borderline<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • 20 U\/mL is positive<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    A positive result may suggest an increased risk of thrombosis and pregnancy loss. However, these results should not be used in isolation for diagnosis and need to be interpreted alongside clinical symptoms or other antiphospholipid antibody tests.<\/p>\n
