Also, intense physical activity should be avoided 24 hours before testing. It is important to adhere to your usual diet and avoid diets. The test is not performed if you have an acute infection or trauma, nor 3 days before and 3 days after the menstrual cycle. Smoking, food, and drinks are prohibited during the test. During the test, patients must be at rest.
