Sample: Venous blood / Urine sample
Reverse time: 1 day
Preparation: Blood Draw: Avoid consuming food or drinks (except water) for 8-12 hours before the blood sample is taken. Urine Test: Begin collecting urine by skipping the first morning urine. Collect all subsequent urine throughout the day and night in a container. Add the first urine of the next morning to the container. For some tests, a preservative may be required in the container—consult with the lab technician for instructions.
