Preparation: Blood Draw: No special preparation is needed, but it is recommended not to take the sample immediately after a meal. Urine Collection: It is best to collect the first morning urine. The sample should be tested within 2 hours if kept at room temperature, or within 6-8 hours if refrigerated (2-8ºC).
