The anti-heart antibodies test is recommended in the following situations:

• For individuals with symptoms that may indicate autoimmune heart disease, such as fatigue, chest pain, difficulty breathing, swelling in the extremities or abdomen, unexplained weight loss, palpitations, an irregular heartbeat, or a rapid pulse without a clear cause.
• For individuals previously diagnosed with rheumatic fever. This test can help monitor therapy effectiveness and assess potential heart valve damage.
• For individuals with a family history of autoimmune heart diseases. Since some autoimmune disorders are hereditary, this test can help identify the risk of developing these conditions.

Why do anti-heart antibodies appear?
